  I'm a professional game artist. During the 15+ years I have been working in the game industry I've had the opportunity to work in many creative roles, such as Level Designer, Environment Artist and Concept Artist, to name a few.

  Working in these various roles has given me unique insights on the many aspects of game creation, allowing me to work closely together within the team; supporting the producers, developers and designers, understanding the goals of the project and actively anticipate potential challenges.

  The main reason that I enjoy working in different roles is because of my genuine interest and sheer enjoyment of all the facets of the production process. It is my firm belief that the best artist is a multi-skilled artist, who has a clear goal in mind: to offer the best experience for the player, not just the best art. I see myself, as an artist, as the bridge between the game's designers and the players.

  Though my area of expertise is specifically focused towards visual design, and the creation of art assets, the last few years I've been slowly moving towards art direction, having been hired by several studios to support the art team Therefore, my skills include management tasks, such as writing documentation, setting up a production pipeline, guiding artists and keeping contact with outsourcing studios.

  In my work I strive for technical excellence, clear visual communication and a visually rich atmosphere.
